Oh my god! They’re not back are they? Well…….no, they’re not actually, well some of them are!!!
After the recent demise of folk and country blues outfit, The Malingerers, three of the band have decided to take their fingers out of their ears, plug in, turn up, then turn up again and play some damn fine blues and rock’n’roll.

The Surgens alter-egos have also made a reappearance with Black Dixon on bass, Hanky Dog on guitar and scream with Craig Murphy on Blues Harp and featuring Johnny Goodbacon on drums (Black Dog Murphy).

Prepare yourself for stripped back rockin’ versions of Surgens songs mixed in with their own raucous versions of tunes from Beefheart to Leadbelly and Hank Williams to Little Walter, and maybe a couple of new songs, if you’re lucky! Goddammit, they’re just gonna play music they wanna play and you’re gonna like it!!

The band will be live in the bar from 3pm.
