CAROL HODGE is a 7-fingered, piano-pounding, Yorkshire-dwelling Singer-Songwriter. Think Regina Spektor meets Billy Bragg, but with fewer digits and a continuous existential crisis, sandwiched between bitter irony and relentless optimism. You won’t know whether to laugh or cry, but will definitely feel something. Carol is a long-term collaborator with Steve Ignorant (Crass) and Ginger Wildheart.

DAVID REID of The Contrast, who have released eight critically acclaimed albums since 2001. Steven Van Zandt described them as “One of the best bands on the planet …and England too!” Playing a solo set this evening, David released his solo album ‘SHADOWS AND SHADES’ last year, a set of 14 acoustic and electric guitar instrumentals that channel surf, country, folk, jazz and cinematic influences.
